Andy Goram has died.
Veteran Hibernian professional footballer Andy Goram sadly passed away aged 58, shortly after being diagnosed with Oesophageal cancer.
The veteran Hall of Famer made an appearance for Hibernian FC for 4 years, between 1987 and 1991. During his stay, he made a total of 163 appearances for the team before departing. His outstanding performance during his stay in the team earned him the position of team captain and subsequently his induction into the Scottish Football Hall of Fame.
After Hibernian FC, he made appearances for the Rangers, Sheffield United, and Manchester united amongst other big clubs in the English Premier league.
He was survived by his partner Elaine Mitchell, whom he began dating in 2005 after 3 failed marriages.
He would always be remembered as the goalkeeper who defied both logic and gravity.
