After a five-year hiatus, Miesha Tate announced that she would return to the UFC to dominate the women’s bantamweight division. Her match against Lauren Murphy was highly anticipated, as UFC fans watched on with curiosity to see what Miesha was bringing aboard after five years of being absent.
It appeared all was big talk as Lauren Murphy beat Miesha Tate to a pulp. Lauren Murphy won the match unanimously after an imminent knockout. Miesha Tate acquired deep cuts around her eyes and almost looked unrecognisable after the match since her face was swollen from Murphy’s blows.
She however stated that her defeat was just the beginning as she would bounce back stronger. We hope to see her in action soon.
