Why did Killer Sally kill her husband? Sarah McNeil, a.k.a Killer Sally, claimed that she killed her husband out of self-defence after he attacked her out of steroid-induced rage. Prosecutors however did not buy into this narrative and sentenced her to 19 years to life imprisonment on the 19th of March, 1996. Sally was released on parole on the 29th of May, 2020 after serving a 24-year sentence.
